Produced from 1967 until 1976, this 1665 “Double Red” name comes from the 2 red lines of “Sea Dweller” and “Submariner 2000”. This specific Sea Dweller features a Mark IV dial, with 3 million serial numbers, produced around 1974. This proper utilitarian watch was the first serially produced Rolex to feature a helium escape valve, which allows the helium to escape when decompressing from saturation diving. Featuring 40mm case size with 17mm thickness due to the domed plexiglass, this is and still feels like a proper tool watch. The previous owner has used the watch like how it’s supposed to be used. The watch comes with Box and Papers, as well as additional leather strap made by us.
