Breguet Classique Perpetual Calendar ref.3310
The Breguet Classique reference 3130 is a bold expression of traditional haute horlogerie, and mechanical complexity while creating a dial design something we have yet to see from any brands. Introduced in the late 1980s by none other than Daniel Roth himself, this perpetual calendar wristwatch showcases both technical virtuosity and broad design, staying true to the classical principles originally established by Abraham-Louis Breguet over two centuries ago.
Housed in a 36mm case crafted in 18k yellow gold, the ref. 3130 features the brand’s signature coin-edge fluted case, soldered lugs, and finely brushed surfaces. The modest dimensions reflect classical proportions, offering a refined wrist presence in keeping with the understated sophistication of the Breguet Classique line from that golden era of Breguet.
The dial is rendered in a 3 different guilloche pattern, adorned with various clous de Paris and grain d’orge patterns, all hand-executed alongside the elegant blued Breguet hands. At the heart of the 3130 is the caliber 502Q, a self-winding movement based on the ultra-thin Frédéric Piguet 71 but significantly modified and finely decorated by Breguet. Designed during the Daniel Roth era of Breguet with broad design, this 3130 is easily a standout piece to own.
