Another auction, another location, this time in the big apple. Haven’t been in the US in a while, so I was excited to come as it is a country that has a lot of ties with me personally, my parents’ first years of marriage being in Philly, my brother being born in the US, I still have family members and childhood friends living in the US.

Experiencing the US market was definitely an experience. Different tastes in watches, different conversations, different culture, everything different. As an Asian growing up in Europe, I never feel out of place when I am in Asian countries or European countries, but the US definitely gave me a feeling that I am a foreigner here. American accent, fashion sense, food, etc.

Watch wise; the market is strong here. Journes; my goodness. These results were insane!! My chance of owning a Journe is becoming unreachable, maybe it’s time for me to give up on one of my kidneys.
Met some new people, saw some familiar faces too. Speaking of familiar faces, my man Mr.Edoardo Bolla, we have travelled all across the globe together this year, all for this little object on our wrist. Surprisingly he is still not sick of my horrible jokes and yapping every 5 seconds. More to come in 2026.

Found Edo in NY
Time to finish the year strong. Set small goals, knocked them off, time to set more.
