Another busy week. Flew to the UK thinking it would be a relaxing time, it’s July, things are slow in the market so not too many watch related meetings, but boy was I wrong. I always get this reminiscents coming back to the UK where I lived for 3 years of my early adulthood. Comparing my life back in 2018 to now, I believe there has been a lot of progress in personal growth (I think). Would I live in the UK again? No, I love Switzerland, but coming back once in a while ain’t so bad.
Went to see some dealer friends, who were very kind enough to show me some nice watches, and also met up with some old friends as well and went for a cheeky little golf session. Time well spent.
New pick up, this 6263; quite nice. Does it worth the current market price? Absolutely not. But will get more into that in upcoming articles. Nice watch still.
I see a lot of people are taking their time off from work, especially in the watch industry. Personally I don't really feel the necessity to take significant time off, as I get to spend a day or two off here and there, and at the end of the day, why take time off if you love what you do? (a little corny but). Being able to do what you love to do for living is more than a privilege and I do not take this for granted, and it also comes with significant responsibilities so I am learning with more experiences. Disciplinary. Need a lot of that. I try.
Another week of good learning. Set small goals, knocked them off, time to set more.
