Through the Lens #12 Flow

Another busy week off the books. One of the most physically exhausting, yet a fulfilling week. Started the week in Barcelona for a few meetings, and managed to get a few deals done; more to be revealed in coming weeks. I would personally say a big thank you to the people at Ancienne Watches for opening their office for me and taking their time to show some of their pieces. The gesture of investing their precious time to meet up and connect is something I do not take for granted.

Did not manage to look around too much in Barcelona, but managed to visit Joan Miro Foundation. I am slowly realising the correlation between art and watches a little bit. I am no art person, but I love the story that each piece provides, kind of similar to why I love watches.

Had a quick stop by in Monaco to finalise a few things. Throughout the trip, this Breguet 3130 kept me in good company; pleasing, yet historical dial design, slim case, proportionate size melts into your wrist.

Back in Zurich just on time to catch up on my Zurich neighbor Ineichen auction house for their monthly auction. Congratulations to Daniel and everyone at Ineichen Auction house for another great sale.

Some Things did not go according to what I was expecting throughout the trip, but I am slowly learning to be at peace with things I do not have control over. Things will never go according to what I envision or plan, so it’s up to me to follow along accordingly and get the best out of each situation given.

It was a hectic week for sure. And next week is not looking any less hectic with Lugano auction coming up with Monaco Legend Group. Can’t complain though. As tiring as it gets at times, I am extremely thankful to have all these experiences. Set small goals, Knocked them off, time to set more.
