Through the Lens #11 Symmetry

Through the Lens #11 Symmetry

Another week, another pics. This is becoming more like my personal track recordings, and I would do it even without anyone reading or seeing my photos.

Environment. The term ‘Product of Environment’ has been lingering in my head, and I am deeply realising it myself. Thoughts, and daily routines I have had when I was in the military for 2 previous years, thoughts and routines I had in Korea, and compare that to my thoughts and routines here in Switzerland, there are a lot of differences. Obviously, my life has changed 180 degrees after the military, and I moved back to the other side of the world which is a bit of a change. But I am thankful for every experience I have had and having, and try to learn from one experience to another, and move forward. But yea, environment; such an effect to an individual.

In another part of symmetry, I realise that I am still in process of balancing. Especially the balance between work life and personal life. Because it is just blended into one at the moment and I catch myself just continuously working without a set time off. People might think I am free as a bird since I do not have anyone above me, but on the other hand, the entire responsibility is on me and there is no end to the work. Unless I have a meeting scheduled, I am at my office desk from the morning til the moment I go to bed. But I believe I should build a little more of a balance to get out of my office desk at times as well.

Seasons go by, weather is changing, but my golf skills remain unchanged. Still suck at it. But had a great time catching up with some old friends of mine.

Less watch related work this week, and that is ok. It doesn’t always have to be watches. But I did manage to have this amazing Laurent Ferrier Classic one in Opaline dial on my wrist. I am realising that this specific classic one is in a category of its own; a smart-casual styled watch with a pleasingly symmetrical sporty dial design. Do I wish it was a millimeter or 2 smaller? Yes, because I have a tiny wrist, but it still is an amazing watch to wear on a casual day, or with a suit and tie. Better casual though. More about this Laurent Ferrier will be published soon.

Overall, another great week; set small goals, knocked them off. Time to set more.
